But it’s also a question of saturation: is it clever to have that much repetitions (even with a number of ads) or isn’t it? You can survey this as well, in fact it has been studied.

But my point with the ‘learning campaign’ is not this example alone. It’s about optimization, and using real time data to do so.

If your campaign runs for a longer period and you have, let’s say, 3 ads, at the end 1 ad is using 80% of the exposures (impressions) that are left. If your campaign still needs to run for longer period, visitors won’t look at your ad anymore. Then I guess it has the same effect as the annoying washing powder ads you see on tv, over and over again.
