I noticed it is easier to follow a open strategy and communication by _narrowing down the access_ to react first.

All forums I’ve put up the last year were anonymous ‘read’ & registered ‘write’.

This is indeed a barrier for people to be able to react, but this registration barrier has proven to me to be a wall against anonymous negativity, bad behavior and abusive language.

The quantity of replies has lowered, but the quality became much higher and the moderation effort has dropped to a neglectable level…
